Temptation

For over a decade, Gu Yi had been entangled by a madwoman who imposed countless oppressive rules upon him: no falling ill, no skipping class, no romance, no smiling at other women.

Those around them said Lin Zhi was desperately in love with Gu Yi.

Yet later, Lin Zhi left—completely and utterly. She released him, and she released herself.

On the very night of her departure, Gu Yi's friends threw a raucous party at his villa to celebrate his newfound freedom, only for Gu Yi, rushing back from the airport, to smash everything to pieces.

Only then did everyone realize: in that game, Lin Zhi wasn't the only one who lost.

Following a tragic accident that claimed her parents' lives, the Lin family collapsed, and their company was sold off. Forced abroad, Lin Zhi vanished without a trace for seven years, driven solely by the need to make those responsible pay blood for blood.

She still remembered how, just before leaving, the boy she had cared for over ten long years grabbed hold of her and asked, in a voice as calm as stagnant water,

"You're not going to look after me anymore?"

She thought to herself that she no longer had the right.

Years later, Gu Yi, now a wildly popular singer dominating the charts, made headlines during a television program because of a necklace.

Netizens explained that this piece was a bespoke creation reserved for R Brand's top-tier members, each engraved with the purchaser's information.

Yet no one expected the name carved onto that necklace to belong to someone else:

LZ.

[Lin Zhi was an exceptional hunter who spent more than a decade taming a wild wolf, compelling him willingly to lower his head, wear the collar bearing her mark, and submit to her authority alone.]

[Strong female lead, older woman-younger man romance, three-year age gap, dual first loves.]
