My Husband Found a Sweetheart on the Way to Resurrect Me?

Mu Ran has a nightmare: she is a female supporting character in a male-oriented novel, and also the male lead's white moonlight wife.
In the second year after marrying the male lead, she will die to save him.
To resurrect her, he goes up to the bright realm of the blue sky and down to the gloomy capital of hell, seeking countless rare treasures. Five hundred years later, he finally tears through the void, reaches the peak realm, and successfully resurrects her.
It seems like a perfect ending, but this is a male-oriented novel.
During the five hundred years in which the male lead saves his wife, he encounters countless beauties, and the noble-born eldest daughter of the Qingtian Sect falls deeply in love with him. When the entire sect besieges the male lead, she even threatens him with death, forcing her father to give him the supreme treasure for resurrecting his wife.
The cold-hearted male lead finally fell in love.
After his wife was resurrected, he gave the eldest young lady a proper status too, and from then on the three of them lived happily together.
Mu Ran was so furious that she sat up in her coffin.

Cang Shubai lost his father and mother at a young age, had mediocre talent, and was rejected by his clan. He had not encountered much warmth in his life, and his path of cultivation was especially difficult, so it was only natural that he developed a ruthless, decisive, cold and merciless temperament.
Marrying a young female cultivator was something of an accident.
He had thought that a steady life of working at sunrise and resting at sunset, of firewood, rice, oil, and salt, would continue forever, but a siege and ambush changed everything.
His wife died for him.
Yet he insisted on keeping her alive.
Five hundred years passed, and her body gradually grew warm, and her soul was about to return.
After slaughtering everyone at the forced-marriage scene, Cang Shubai hurried to Linglong Sea. On the water's surface, the person in the white jade coffin was already gone, leaving only a letter lying inside.
—"Let us divorce."
