The moment Su Heng spoke, Kog’Maw sprang out of the bushes, unleashing a basic attack followed by abilities to pummel Cassiopeia relentlessly. Tahm Kench followed closely behind.

Cassiopeia had positioned herself too far forward to escape unscathed. She could only shift her focus, coordinating with her teammates who had just arrived to try and take Kog’Maw down. In mere seconds, Kog’Maw’s health was dangerously low. Wave gritted his teeth and used Heal, while Braum rushed over to shield him.

Ignoring all other attacks, the two pressed forward toward Cassiopeia.

Su Heng had anticipated everything. Right after finishing off the F6 camp, she made a beeline toward Cassiopeia, aiming to knock her up. Cassiopeia’s teammates, sensing trouble from Viktor and Rek’Sai, pinged her frantically, signaling a retreat.

With no other option, Cassiopeia hastily pressed Flash, trying to escape.

Almost the instant she flashed, Su Heng spoke calmly: “Keep chasing.”

On the big screen, Rek’Sai used her own Flash to knock Cassiopeia into the air. Wave followed right after, also flashing to land a Q on her.

**First Blood.**

The first kill was secured.

Everyone watching was stunned, including the two commentators.

**Xiao Hai:** “Uh… GI got the first kill, but it doesn’t feel like they profited much…”

**Dai Mao:** “Right. Wave got the kill, but they lost some valuable bot-lane experience, which could hurt their late-game scaling.”

Xiao Hai blinked: “Something feels off… GI was unusually aggressive there.”

**Dai Mao:** “Yes, and they burned two Flashes and a Heal. Meanwhile, the CEO’s bot duo still has both their Summoner Spells, so GI’s bot lane will struggle for a while.”

Everyone understood the logic, but Sun He glanced at Su Heng, who was calmly farming in the jungle, wondering what she was thinking. Of course, Su Heng had no intention of explaining herself.

After five minutes of quiet gameplay, Su Heng appeared mid-lane again, burrowing through the enemy’s F6 jungle, lying in wait.

Cassiopeia didn’t sense the danger—though even if she did, she wouldn’t have retreated, as her jungler, Lee Sin, was hiding in the river bush nearby.

Neither mid-laner had vision of the enemy jungler, making both sides play aggressively. As Viktor and Cassiopeia’s health started to dwindle, Su Heng spoke:

“Lee Sin is there. Don’t let your health drop too low.”

Zhou Lingxing wasn’t naive—he could tell from Cassiopeia’s movements that someone must be lurking nearby. Hearing Su Heng’s warning, he raised an eyebrow and said casually, “You can have the kill.”

Su Heng caught the confidence in his voice, and a faint smile appeared behind her mask. “We’ll see who earns it.”

Before the words were out of her mouth, Lee Sin made his move, throwing out a Q. Zhou Lingxing reacted swiftly, dodging it with a quick sidestep.

Lee Sin, missing his Q, decided not to force the fight and ward-hopped to retreat. However, the moment Cassiopeia saw Lee Sin withdraw, she lunged at Viktor.

Cassiopeia wasn’t as mobile as Lee Sin. Although she had high movement and attack speed, she lacked mobility skills. Lee Sin managed to escape quickly, but Cassiopeia found herself trapped, with no way out.

In a desperate moment, Cassiopeia hit level 6 and launched her ultimate at Viktor, hoping to buy time to flee.

Seeing this, Su Heng burrowed through a wall with Rek’Sai and knocked Cassiopeia into the air, following up with a Q and E combo at full fury, dealing massive damage.

Cassiopeia fell, and Su Heng secured the kill.

Zhou Lingxing chuckled, “You did that on purpose, didn’t you?”

Successfully took down Cassiopeia.

Zhou Lingxing was still smiling, “You did that on purpose?”

The girl arched her eyebrows playfully. “Nope.”
Yeah, right.

**Commentary Desk**

Seeing that play, Dumbhair couldn’t help getting excited: “Did Sleeping deliberately wait until Cassiopeia used her ultimate before showing up?”

Xiaohai paused for two seconds before denying it: “No way. When Sleeping was camping at F6, Cassiopeia was still level 5. How could she know when Cass would hit 6?”

Dumbhair: “But she could’ve appeared earlier, right? Instead, she waited until Cass hit 6, used her ultimate on LING, and *then* showed up.”

Xiaohai: “If she really planned it like that, that’s way too brutal. Hahaha! Letting Cassiopeia think she could escape so she’d waste her ultimate, only to pop up at the last second and deliver the killing blow? Feels like Sleeping had it out for CEO’s mid-laner from the start.”

Dumbhair shivered at the thought: “Which is why you should never mess with a woman…”

During the recall, Zhou Lingxing glanced at the girl and asked slowly, “Why target Cassiopeia?”

Su Heng paused but kept playing: “I watched a few of CEO’s games. Their strategy revolves around the mid-laner. And…” She lowered her eyes slightly. Online chatter said that the Korean import mid-laner was the one who devised counters against Shen Siyan.

How could she let this grudge go unanswered?

Zhou Lingxing didn’t press further. He simply headed toward top lane.
Su Heng smirked. So, he *did* notice.

GI had already camped Cassiopeia twice, leaving her behind in farm. If CEO’s top and mid lanes lost momentum and GI’s mid-jungle duo seized the advantage, they wouldn’t have to worry about CEO scaling later on.

Sun He, seeing Viktor moving towards the top lane, forced Jax under the tower, dangerously low on health.

When Viktor finally arrived, the Jarvan on their team ulted under the turret, trapping Jax inside.

Jax’s player, Xie Xia, known for his caution, realized he was in trouble. Although he was under his own turret, his early-game farm had fallen far behind Jarvan’s, and he was already down by more than ten minions.

Seeing Jarvan confidently engage under the turret, Xie Xia assumed someone else was nearby and immediately burned his Flash.

Zhou Lingxing grinned. His goal wasn’t to kill Jax, just to stall his farm.

Despite GI dominating so far, the action finally came to a head in the bottom lane.

Old Fish, seeing the enemy Karma and Ashe clearing his ward in the tri-bush, was furious: “Wave! Hurry, hurry! They’re taking down my ward!”

Wave glanced at Su Heng’s position and immediately responded, “Go! Go! Engage!”

Before Su Heng could stop him, Braum had already ulted onto Karma. She rushed over as fast as she could.

At the same time, both Jarvan and Jax pressed their Teleports.

Braum’s ultimate hit Karma, but she instantly cast Exhaust on Kog’Maw and Flashed toward mid lane to escape.

Braum wasn’t backing down. As Karma slipped away, he used Exhaust on Ashe, forcing her Flash as well.

Just then, Lee Sin appeared from behind Karma, landing a kick on the chasing Kog’Maw.

With a follow-up Q, Lee Sin dashed forward and unleashed his ultimate, kicking the low-health Kog’Maw right into the freshly teleported Jax, finishing him off.

Lee Sin then stuck to Braum, using E and auto-attacks to secure the kill.

Jax didn’t even need abilities—one auto-attack was enough to send Wave back to the fountain.

Sun He, having just teleported in, used his EQ combo to knock up Ashe and claim another kill.

Su Heng finally arrived, her voice calm: “Don’t let them escape.”

In a split second, Sun He’s ultimate came off cooldown. Almost instantly, he Flashed and ulted, trapping both Jax and Lee Sin.

Lee Sin reacted quickly, ward-jumping to escape, but Jax—who had just used his mobility skills—was left trapped indefinitely.

Dumbhair exclaimed: “Two-for-two! They actually pulled off a two-for-two, even without the team’s full support!”

Xiaohai couldn’t help but nod in agreement: “Thanks to all the pressure, Xie Xia’s falling further behind. He was already losing farm, and even though he got a kill, he’s right back where he started.”

Dumbhair: “GI initiated that fight, and it should’ve been a lost cause since their jungler wasn’t in position. But who knew they’d turn it around like this?”

Xiaohai: “That engage was a miscalculation. They knew the jungler couldn’t follow up, but they still forced it—way too reckless.”

Xiao Hai: “This team fight seems to be due to a decision-making error. They knew the jungler couldn’t keep up but still initiated. That was a bit too rash.”

The same words were coming from Sun He: “Wave, be steady.”

Wave pouted: “I know, I know.”

After saying this, Wave directly took Old Fish and ran to the top lane to collect Sun He’s minion wave, leaving Sun He speechless.

Su Heng was clearing the jungle on the other side. He glanced at the mini-map, and if nothing unexpected happened, Xie Xie in the top lane should be walking into a trap. A smile suddenly appeared on the girl’s face.

Wave originally planned to finish clearing the wave and go home to buy items, but he was suddenly interrupted by the weapon’s E ability as he was returning to base.

The boy was furious.

Did they think he was a sick cat just because he didn’t roar like a tiger?

Did they still dare to provoke him and Old Fish?

After harassing him, the weapon slipped back under the turret, remaining motionless, clearly displaying an attitude of “What can you do to me?”

Wave, furious, yelled at Old Fish: “Keep up! I have to kill him today!”

Old Fish was startled by the boy’s loud voice and hurriedly followed.

Big Mouth tanked the turret, auto-attacked followed by a Q to hit the weapon, who began to retreat repeatedly. Big Mouth used his sludge to slow down the weapon, then activated W and pounded him hard, quickly killing the weapon.

After leaving the turret’s attack range, only 50 HP remained.

Xiao Hai exclaimed: “A squishy ADC without mobility kills the top laner under the tower!!! Wave always brings us surprises, haha!”

Dai Mao: “Wave is a Chinese member brought back from the Korean team, having trained in Korea since he was young. His strength cannot be underestimated. It seems Xie Xie is already in a state of collapse.”

Xiao Hai looked somewhat innocent: “I know all this, but why didn’t I ever feel they were this strong before?”

Author’s note: Some plot points reference the intercontinental match between WE and SKT. I replaced Galio with Viktor because Galio hadn’t been updated in terms of skills during Season 5 and wasn’t strong in the current version. Some cute readers may have forgotten, so I’ll reiterate.

The current time point is a year before Season 6.

Therefore, during the Ban/Pick phase, I wrote that each side bans three champions, and I didn’t include any new heroes.
