Upon receiving the skill, Vladimir was in awe. He suddenly felt something inside him, as if he could see lines of code he did not understand. 

Among those lines, some parts were forcibly replaced. Then he felt that something was added into him and as he opened his eyes, he learned the spell.

He was excited because, in his memories, he could release a waterball. 

Walking toward the open window, he extended his hand outward. 

With his palm open, he aimed at the trees and tried to recall the trigger for the acquired skill.

“Water Ball!”

Then the air around his palm began to shimmer as if something invisible was pressing against it. 

He felt a tug in his chest and then a pull from deep within the mana in the air was turning into water as it condensed.

A sphere of water rapidly formed in his hand, swirling and tightening, compressed by a force he hadn’t fully understood. 

Vladimir could not help but be amazed as he looks at this scene, “Is this what magic looks like?” he murmured.

With a sharp sound like a pop, the water ball launched forward, tearing through the air like a cannon that was shot. 

He watched it with starry eyes, and just as it rose toward the sky, a bird darted across its path. 

It was too fast to dodge, making the ball struck it directly. The bird’s body jolted mid-flight before spiraling down, it’s life and death is still unkown.

As for the water ball, it didn’t even slow down after that objection.

It continued its ascent, punching through the clouds like a small comet of pressure and mist.

“Oh no, the bird!” he cried out, but quickly lowered his voice since his mother was asleep.

Feeling sad about the bird and not knowing why, he jumped down from the window. But as he looked down, his eyes bulged wide.

After all, he was high up, about fifteen feet above the ground. He covered his mouth to keep himself from shouting.

Instead of falling wildly, he dropped straight down in a standing position. 

But when he hit the ground, he felt no pain it was only a slight thud.

This meant his feet had landed properly. It felt as if he had just made a normal jump.

Opening his eyes and realizing he was unharmed, he run towards the bird lying near the tree.

As he approached and saw the bird’s condition, he instantly regretted it.

 Its body was torn and bloodied, feathers scattered and soaked red. Parts of its bones were exposed, and its wings lay twisted unnaturally

“Can water spells actually do this? I thought water was supposed to be less harmful. Sorry, dear bird,” Vladimir said with a regretful tone.

Now that its status was clear, he realized he had killed a bird which is his first kill in his entire life.

Even though it was such a coinscidence it was still he’s fault.

Hearing that there were no missions from the system currently, Vladimir nodded as he went back inside.

Shifting his neck on his shoulder, he saw that it was none other than his little sister, Seraphina. 

She was trying not to make any noise to scare him, but it did not work. 

Seeing that he had seen her made her pout as he just laughed about it.

Vladimir felt like he was really a superhero at this moment. Seraphina then sat beside him and saw that her big brother didn’t have any clothes at all.
